October 3, Biratnagar

Some community schools in Biratnagar are conducting classes in the physical presence of students even as the corona virus infection is on the rise.

Despite the government's directive to discontinue physical classes in Corona pandemic and to provide alternative education without the physical presence of students in the school, the children's lower secondary school in Biratnagar-13, Janpath School in Biratnagar-11 and Satyanarayan higher secondary school have started conducting classes in defiance of the government's directive.

Chief District Officer of Morang and Corona Infection Management Committee (DCCMC) Coordinator Koshahari Niraula said that permission was not granted for school to conduct physical classes.

He also said that any school conducting classes in the school would be closed immediately due to the spread of corona at the community level in Biratnagar.
