Apr 27, Kathmandu- Aam Janata Party and Samajwadi Jana Ekata Party have merged.

On Saturday, a merger was announced between the Aam Janata Party led by Prabhu Shah and Samajwadi Jana Ekata led by Narayan Shrestha.

After the merger, the Aam Janata Party will remain under the leadership of Prabhu Shah. In this, it is said that the division of duties and roles of leaders including the coordinator of Jana Ekata Party, Narayan Shrestha, will be respectful.

Speaking at the event, Shah said that he will unite with the party of progressive thinking and ideas. "Development of the country is not possible with the current major parties and current leaders," said Shah, "so we are on a campaign to build a strong force by uniting with a forward-thinking party."
