By-election Update: 66,000 Estimated Votes In Ilam-2

Apr 27, Kathmandu- The voting process has been completed under the by-election of Ilam-2. Voting started at 7 am on Saturday and was completed by 5 pm. Chief Electoral Officer Keshav Prasad Ghimire informed that about 66,000 votes were cast.

Chief District Officer Indradev Yadav said that preparations are being made to bring ballot boxes from all the polling stations to the headquarters, Ilam Bazar.

After bringing the ballot boxes, Yadav informed that the all-party meeting will be held and the counting of votes will start from today. Ballot boxes should be collected from the Ilam 149 polling station. Gautam Buddha Hall has been assigned to the counting center room of Ilam.
