IPL: Punjab defeated by 69 runs, Hyderabad's third win

Sunrisers Hyderabad have clinched their third victory in the 13th edition of IPL T20 in the UAE.

Hyderabad beat Kings XI Punjab by 69 runs in the match played in Dubai on Thursday night.

Chasing the target of 202 runs set by Hyderabad at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Punjab were bowled out for 132 in 16 overs with five balls to spare. Simran Singh and KL Rahul of Punjab added 11 runs each. Rashid Khan took 3 wickets for Hyderabad while Khalil Ahmed and T Natarajan took 2 and 2 wickets respectively.

Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Hyderabad scored 201 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. For Hyderabad, openers Johnny Bairstow and skipper David Warner played half-century innings. Bairstow and Warner shared 160 runs in 15 overs for the first wicket. Punjab is at the bottom of the table with five defeats and one win in six games.
