Negotiation between Dr. KC representative and Government team still continues today

After an eight-hour discussion twice on Thursday, The government team and KC's representatives are holding talks again on Friday morning regarding Govinda KC's demand.

Dr. KC has been on fast for 26 days. The government has formally started talks from Thursday to address KC's demands.

After the government formed a negotiating team on Wednesday, the KC faction had formed a committee to hold talks with the government. Though the eight-hour discussion in two phases was positive, the talks ended on Thursday night saying that more homework was needed.

The talks were held at 10:30 am on Thursday and lasted till 3 pm. The talks started again at 5 pm and lasted till 9 pm. "The talks have been positive," said a member of the negotiating team. "We have postponed the talks until tomorrow morning because of the need to do more homework."

In the government negotiation team, under the coordination of Education Secretary Gopinath Mainali, Joint-Secretary Dr. Gunaraj Lohani and the Director of the Medical Education Commission. Dilip Sharma is a member.

On behalf of Dr. KC, President of Nepal Health Research Council Dr. Anjani Kumar Jha, President of Nepal Medical Association Lochan Karki and advocate Omprakash Aryal are members.

KC, who started his fast from Jumla on Bhadra 29, was brought to Nepalgunj on Ashwin 5. He was brought to Kathmandu by helicopter from Nepalgunj on Ashwin 6, Dr. KC is currently on hunger strike at TU Teaching Hospital.

Dr. The doctor involved in KC's treatment has said that he has serious health problems. KC, who took only normal oxygen and saline, was sent only oxygen from Thursday evening as it was difficult to breathe.

According to Tosima Karki, a doctor involved in KC's treatment, the oxygen level was increased after KC found it difficult to breathe on Thursday evening. According to the doctor, KC could not tell when the fast was going on. He has not accepted treatment even though he should be taken to ICU immediately.
