17 killed in bus-train collision in Thailand

At least 17 people have been killed in a bus and train crash in Thailand. Dozens of people were injured in the crash, which took place 50 kilometers east of the Thai capital Bangkok on Sunday, according to international media.

It is said that there were Buddhists in the bus and they were going to the monastery to end their fast. Rescue workers said that a crane had to be used to remove the bus that was hit by the train during the accident.
