Mumbai Indians beats Delhi and makes it to the top spot

Mumbai Indians have beaten Delhi Capitals by five wickets in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Chasing Delhi's target of 163 in last night's match, Mumbai completed the target by losing 5 wickets in 19.4 overs.

For Mumbai, Quentin Dick and Surya Kumar Yadav played a half-century innings of 53-53.

Ishan Kisan scored 28 runs while Karen Pollard scored an unbeaten 11 runs. Similarly, captain Rohit Sharma was dismissed for 5 runs while Krunal Pandey scored 12 runs unbeaten.

Batting first after winning the toss, Delhi lost 4 wickets in 20 overs and scored 162 runs.

Shikhar Dhawan scored an unbeaten 69 for Delhi while captain Shreyas Iyer scored 42 runs. Ajikhya Rahane scored 15, Marcos Stoinis 13 and Alex Kerry 14 runs.

Mumbai bowler Krunal Pandey took two wickets while Trent Bolt took one.

With this victory, Mumbai has reached the top of the table by winning 5 out of 7 matches. Similarly, Mumbai has lost two games. Similarly, Delhi Capitals has 10 points with 5 wins and 2 losses in 7 games and Delhi is in the second position in terms of run rate.
