According to the US space agency NASA, Mars is going to be seen largest from planet Earth on Tuesday.

As Mars, Earth and the Sun remain straight on Tuesday night, it is going to look bigger, NASA said.

This phenomenon is called the 'opposition' to Mars in the language of astronomy. Where all three planets will be perpendicular to 180 degrees.

According to NASA, astronomical events approaching Mars and Earth occur once every two years.

Earth and Mars, which were visible on Tuesday night, will no longer be visible until December 2022.

Although the astronomical event of the opposition will take place tonight, Mars came closest to Earth on Tuesday, October 6.

According to the news, they are now at a distance of 626.9 million 570 kilometers.

This will be the shortest distance by 2035. Prior to that, in 2018, Earth and Mars were only 580 million kilometers apart when they came face to face.
