Advertisement for 638 posts by Public Service Commission

The Pubic Service Commission has started preparations to recruit a large number of staff.

The commission has published advertisements for 638 posts of Gazetted First Class (Joint Secretary) and Second Class (Deputy Secretary) on Wednesday.

Despite the increasing number of corona infections, the commission has made preparations to conduct the examination as per the annual schedule.


The commission has stated that advertisements for 638 posts of joint secretaries and deputy secretaries of various service groups have been published. A total of 182 posts of joint secretary and 456 posts of deputy secretary have been advertised in the civil service, parliament and health.

The government had requested the commission to conduct the examination which was stopped in the first week of September and to open a new advertisement.

 
The commission has already made public the new schedule for the examination which was stopped last April. The commission has already started the written and oral examination for the posts of Deputy Subba, Branch Officer and Joint Secretary, which was in the process of being advertised last year.

The written examination for the posts of Joint Secretary and Deputy Secretary advertised now will start at the end of November and will continue till the end of January. According to the Chairman of the Commission, Umesh Mainali, the written examination for the posts of Joint Secretary and Deputy Secretary will be conducted in two shifts in the morning and afternoon.

After this, the vacancies of branch officer, deputy subba, buyer and other posts will be advertised, he said.
