Cinema halls closed for 7 months in India reopens today

'Unlock-5' is being implemented in India from today. The seven-month ban has been gradually lifted due to the Corona epidemic.

Areas including cinema halls, multiplexes, entertainment parks and swimming pools are opening from today.

The government had given permission to open a cinema hall from today while maintaining social distance. Cinema halls closed for seven months will be reopened in Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh and Bengal. However, in Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and the northeastern states, it will be opened only after another notice is issued.

It may open in Gujarat from October 17. The Goa government had given permission to open a cinema hall. However, the cinema hall operators have decided to keep the hall closed as there is no new movie.

Also, amusement parks will be open from today. Sanitation should be done inside and outside the park. Amusement park swimming pools will remain closed.

Elsewhere, no more than 20 people will be allowed to go to the swimming pool at a time. Similarly, permission has been given to open schools in different areas of Delhi and Maharashtra from today.

In Punjab, schools for classes 9 to 12 will be open from today. In Uttar Pradesh, schools will be open from October 19.
