Police have raided the house of Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi. 

According to Indian media, Bengaluru police started raiding his house from 1 pm yesterday (Thursday). It is said that the raid was not related to actor Oberoi but to his brother-in-law.

The Bengaluru police had reached the house at Juhu in Oberoi with a search warrant. Aditya Alva, Vivek's brother-in-law, is wanted by the police for allegedly supplying drugs to Kannada film industry singers, actors and actresses. He is the son of former Karnataka minister Jivraj Alva.

A team from the Crime Branch raided Vivek's house. A police official said, "Aditya Alva has been absconding. He is a relative of Vivek and we have raided on the basis of information that he is hiding here. 'The Kannada film industry is known as Sandalwood.

Like Bollywood, the South Indian film industry has recently witnessed a spate of drug addictions. According to the news, the names of some famous people are also involved in the drug case. Similarly, actress Ragini Dwivedi and Sajana Galrani have also been arrested by the police.
