The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority has arrested Ram Prasad Rana, Chairman of Sitaram Community Forest Users Group in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolis-11.
A team of the commission also arrested Ranger Ram Avtar Chaudhary for soliciting bribe from the Sub-Divisional Forest Office along with the tractor driver.
According to Taranath Adhikari, spokesperson of the commission, Rana was arrested from Park Mod of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolis-1. The commission has stated that further investigation is being carried out on him.
