Mumbai Indians’ one-sided win over Kolkata Knight Riders

Mumbai Indians clinched a comfortable victory over Kolkata Knight Riders in the ongoing IPL match in the UAE on Friday after excelling in batting and bowling.

After winning the toss in Abu Dhabi, Mumbai bowled out Paliha for 148 runs. Newly-appointed skipper Ian Morgan and Pat Cummins led Kolkata to a respectable score.

Cummins scored 53 runs while Morgan scored 39 runs. The other batsmen could not score double figures.

Batting in reply, Mumbai lost two wickets and reached the target in the 17th over. Opener Quantan Dick scored 78 not out for Mumbai. Similarly, Rohit Sharma scored 35 runs while Hardik Pandya scored 20 runs not out.

With the win, Mumbai has risen to the top of the table. He has 12 points with 6 wins in 8 games. Delhi Capitals have also added 12 points after winning 6 out of 8 matches. However, Delhi has slipped to second place as Mumbai's run rate has improved.
