One person has been killed in a tractor accident in Bhirkot municipality of Syangja district.

A 20-year-old local Bipin GT died in a tractor accident at Bhirkot Municipality-3 on Saturday, said Rajendra Prasad Adhikari, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office.

The tractor (Ga 1 Ta 5637) had an uncontrolled accident on the road. GT died in the accident after being hit by the tractor engine. The body has been taken to Gahrao Primary Hospital in Waling for autopsy, police said.

Sunil Rijal, 17, of Bhirkot-3 has been injured in the accident. He is undergoing treatment at Syangja District Hospital, police said.
