The deputy mayor of Ghodaghodi municipality of Kailali has caused a commotion after her name was not written in the inscription.
Deputy Mayor Prem Kumari Thapa caused a stir at the inauguration ceremony of the new building of Ward No. 7 of the municipality.
Outraged Deputy Mayor Thapa hit the stone saying that her name was not written in the inscription. After that, she had a quarrel with the mayor of the municipality Mamata Prasad Chaudhary.
Saying that she was insulted by not writing her name in the inscription, Deputy Mayor Thapa even chanted slogans against Mayor Chaudhary.
Police were deployed at the venue to control the situation.
