Employees' agitation at Bir Hospital: Why was the office locked?

Employees of Bir Hospital have agitated.

They have even locked the room where the officials of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS) are working.

About 200 people including doctors, nurses and other staff working at the hospital have participated. A doctor who participated in the agitation said that the hospital administration did not address their demands and the employees were forced to protest as they did not even want to talk to them.

NAMS officials were locked inside the hospital by the protesters and now they have not been able to get out. The agitating doctor said that he had written a letter to the health workers in the last 15 days to provide proper security to the health workers and the administration has not shown any interest in the letter.

The agitating doctors have been saying that they have joined the agitation after the demand was not heard for 15 days. According to him, none of the employees of Veer Hospital working on the frontline have received coveted allowance so far.
