Face shield an added mandatory for public transport travel

October 19, Kathmandu

Passengers were required to wear a mask and sanitizer when traveling on a public bus. According to the criteria issued by the Ministry of Health, passengers should now also wear face shield (visor).

Passengers have to arrange the face shield themselves before boarding in the bus. It has been stated that full safety measures should be followed as the risk of infection with corona virus (Covid-19) is also high as passengers can be accommodated in all the seats as per the demand of the transport businessmen.

While boarding public buses and microbuses, the department has said that the guidelines and standards related to health safety issued by the Ministry of Health should be fully followed and the fare should be as per the norms fixed by the department.
