A young man who jumped from the third floor of Kathmandu Medical College (KMC) in Sinamangal has died while undergoing treatment. Roshan Khadka, 26, of Solukhumbu died after falling from the third floor of the hospital on Monday morning, according to the Metropolitan Police Circle, Gaushala.

Khadka was admitted to KMC by his mother only on Sunday after burning his hands and feet at home. Khadka had jumped when his mother went to buy medicine on Monday morning.

He was also suffering from mental illness and police are working to find out more about the incident, police said.
