The MPs of the main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) have decided to return the Dashain allowance in one go.
Even in the uneasy situation of Covid-19, the MPs have been criticized for taking Dashain allowance.
Congress leader Minendra Rijal said, "Perhaps, a press release will be made public soon about the decision."
The Federal Parliament Secretariat has already deposited Rs. 64,070 in the bank accounts of all the parliamentarians as the Dashain allowance. The Nepali Congress has 63 MPs.
