South Asia’s second skywalk to be constructed in Bhedetar, Dhankuta

South Asia’s second skywalk to be constructed in Bhedetar, Dhankuta. A decision has been reached to the final stage to construct and operate the skywalk project which is to be constructed on the land Charles View Tower in Bhedetar which is a tourist center in the east on the broader of Dhankuta and Sunsari. The total cost of the project is estimated to be 200 million. 

The project aims to attract one million tourists annually and provide employment to 1000 people directly and indirectly. Project Director Sanjib Rokaya said that the project will be completed within a year once the agreement is finished. 

Although some media are circulating this to be constructed Skywalk of Bhedetar as South Asia's first Skywalk, it is not. Pelling Skywalk of Sikkim, India which was constructed in 2018 is the first Skywalk of South Asia.
