IPL: Rajasthan's fourth win, they beat Chennai by 7 wickets

Rajasthan Royals have won their fourth match in IPL T20 cricket. Rajasthan beat former runners-up Chennai Super Kings by seven wickets in Abu Dhabi on Monday night to clinch their fourth victory.

Rajasthan completed the target of 126 runs set by Chennai at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium by losing 3 wickets in 17 overs.

In Rajasthan's victory, Jas Butler remained unbeaten and played a half-century innings of 70 runs. Captain Steve Smith remained unbeaten on 26 runs. Similarly, Ben Stokes added 19 runs while Robin Uthappa scored 4 runs. Sanju Samson was out for zero.

Deepak Chahar of Chennai took 2 wickets. Jose Hazlewood took 1 wicket. Chennai, who had won the toss and elected to bat first, lost five wickets in 20 overs and were all out for 125 runs.

Rabindra Jadeja remained unbeaten on 35 runs for Chennai. Similarly, skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni added 28 runs while Sam Karan scored 22 runs. Ambati Rayadu was dismissed for 13 while Fap du Plessis added 10 runs.

Rajasthan's Joffra Archer, Karthik Tyagi, Shreyas Gopal and Rahul Tewatia took 1 and 1 wickets respectively. With the victory, the possibility of Rajasthan reaching the play-off is still alive.

Rajasthan has added 8 points in 10 games. Rajasthan has also risen to the fifth position in the league.
