Nepal Will Bring Medical Supplies From China Through Charter Flights

May 31, Kathmandu-A charter flight of Nepal Airlines is going to Beijing on Monday. Chinese President Xi Jinping is reported to be flying to Beijing to receive the vaccine.

Sushil Kumar Lamsal, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Nepalese Embassy in Beijing, informed that the wide-body ship of the corporation is scheduled to fly from Kathmandu to Beijing on Monday night and land in Kathmandu at 2 pm on Tuesday.

During a joint meeting with President Bidyadevi Bhandari and representatives of various political parties on Wednesday, Chinese President Xi Jinping announced that Nepal would be given one million doses of vaccine.

Among them, vaccine  800,000 will be brought to Nepal by the ship of the corporation provided by the central government of China on Tuesday, while the remaining 200,000 will be brought by Himalayan Airlines, a Nepal-China joint venture, from Kunming, Greece.
