Four Airlines Including Newani  Are Allowed Regular Flights For 3 Destinations

June 1, Kathmandu- I Four airlines including Nepal Airlines, have been allowed regular flights to three international destinations. The government has opened regular flights a year to India and three other countries.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal has approved the flight schedule for this. As per the approved schedule, Nepal Airlines Corporation, Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways, and Air India have been allowed regular flights to Nepal. Of the regular flights, no airline has offered regular flights to China.

Among these permitted flights, Turkey will only be allowed to fly to Istanbul. One flight a year is allowed for Turkey from June 3. This flight will be every Thursday. Nepal Airlines has received permission for Doha, Qatar, and New Delhi, India. Qatar Airways has also got a flight to Doha. Nepal Airlines and Qatar will fly to Qatar every Monday.

Both the companies will be able to start flying from June 7. Nepal Airlines will fly to New Delhi every Wednesday. Indian airline Air India, on the other hand, has been allowed to fly to Kathmandu on Fridays of the year. Flights are being operated in India according to the air bubble scheme. In three other countries, the government decided to open flights a week ago.

Nepalis stranded in Malaysia and the Gulf

The government has suspended regular flights for more than a month due to growing coronavirus infection. In the meantime, even commuters are in trouble.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has stated that a large number of complaints are received daily saying that the government of Nepal is not in priority in the Gulf and Malaysia. The NEA has also stated that it is not up to the NEA to open the flight permit or not.

On the other hand, the passengers have drawn the attention of the government to open flights to other countries by fulfilling the safety standards as soon as the queue is opened.

3.India (New Delhi) Nepal Airlines air bubble scheme every Wednesday
