June 3, Kathmandu - Dishome is preparing to issue ordinary share IPO to the public.
Dishome had sought permission from the Securities and Exchange Board of Nepal (SEB) to issue 2,385,929 shares to the public on July 11 last year. With the permission of the Securities and Exchange Board, Dishome has stated that it is preparing to issue an IPO soon.
Dishome has been distributing 207 TV channels with 58 HD and 149 SD channels to its customers. In addition, the company has been broadcasting 70 premium channels and 16 own channels. Dishome, which has 1.1 million subscribers, is also preparing to bring internet to the rural level through satellite.
The company, which earned Rs 3.95 billion in 2018, Rs 4.25 billion in 2019 and Rs 5.13 billion, last year, has grown at an average rate of 30 percent in the last three years. The Hong Kong-based Sand Martin International Holding Company owns 47 percent of the company's capital and the remaining 53 percent belongs to Nepali investors.
