Fire at Teku-based transfer station is under control

June 3, Kathmandu - The fire at the transfer station at Teku has been brought under control. The fire was brought under control only an hour and a half ago, said by Hari Kumar Shrestha, chief of the Kampa Environment Department.

The fire was brought under control with the help of Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, Nepal Army and locals. The fire broke out at various places in the city. It is said that there are about 50 tons of wire. The fire broke out while the street children were cooking near the wire fence. The fire destroyed all the wires and caused no casualties.
