June 3, Kathmandu - Police have arrested a fugitive accused in a rape case in Dang. According to the District Police Office, Dang, the arrested is Ramu KC (84-years-old), of Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 4 Bhakare.

He was arrested by the police at 10.30 am on Thursday and produced before the Dang Deukhuri District Court for payment of his sentence, said by DSP Mukunda Prasad Rijal.

The court had convicted KC in a case of rape on 2076/8/26 and sentenced him to seven years, five months and eight days imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 200000 The absconding accused was arrested by the police from his house on Thursday.
