June 3, Kathmandu- Seven more corona infected people have died at various hospitals in Banke. Seven infected people have died in the last 24 hours.

According to Tej Oli, the focal person at the district-level COVID-19 Crisis Management Center, three of the dead are from Bardiya, Dang, Dailekh, Salyan and Rukum. A 34-year-old man from Badaiyatal Gaonpalika-2 Bardiya died at Bheri Hospital on Wednesday evening while a 55-year-old man from Gaunpalika-3 died on Wednesday night.

Similarly, a 66-year-old man from Bansgadhi Gaonpalika-6, Bardiya died at the United Hospital, Nepalgunj on Thursday afternoon. Similarly, a 65-year-old woman from Tulsipur Sub-Metropolis-6 Dang died at Nepalgunj Medical College on Wednesday night while a 30-year-old woman from Dailekh Municipality-4 also died on Wednesday night.

Similarly, a 37-year-old woman of Kalimati Gaonpalika-1 Salyan and a 29-year-old man of Bafikot-4 Rukum died on Thursday while undergoing treatment at Nepalgunj Medical College. Meanwhile, 296 people have died in Banke district due to corona infection. Similarly, 302 people from other districts have died while undergoing treatment for corona infection.

A further 154 people were confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus in three laboratories in the district on Thursday. The infection rate in the district has been declining continuously for the past few days. A total of 432 samples were tested and the infection was confirmed in 154 people, according to the District Covid Management Committee. A total of 154 people have been infected with 316 samples at the Bheri Hospital laboratory, 126 at the Bageshwori lab, 25 at the 65-sample test and 57 samples at the Medical College Kohalpur lab.

Of those confirmed infected, 68 are bankrupt. Infection has been confirmed in 68 more people in the district including 30 women and 38 men. So far, 79,566 PCR tests have been conducted in Banke. Today, 40 people of the district have been discharged. According to the committee, 26 women and 16 men have recovered from covid infection.
