June 3, Kathmandu- Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Chairman Upendra Yadav has sent a reply to the Election Commission.
The commission had sent a letter to Yadav to send the party's decision as per the schedule in the Political Parties Act.
According to the commission's letter, all the documents have been sent, Yadav's press coordinator Mahesh Chaurasia told Sethopati.
On May 31, the Yadav faction expelled four others, including party president Mahanta Thakur and senior leader Rajendra Mahato.
The Yadav faction claims that the party's decision has been sent to the Election Commission with the signatures of 27 of the 51 executive members of the party.
The commission had also sent a letter to another JSP chairman, Mahanta Thakur. The commission had asked the Thakur faction to send documents including the minutes of the meeting.
Thakur's side has stated that it will take a few more days to send a letter to the commission.
