June 10, Kathmandu - The government has fixed the price of coarse paddy. According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, the price of coarsa paddy was fixed at a meeting of the Council of Ministers held on May 31

Secretary in the Ministry Dr. Yogendra Kumar Karki informed that the support price of coarse paddy has been fixed at Rs 2735 per quintal and medium paddy at Rs 2885 per quintal.

"Sales will not be distributed at the fixed price," said by Secretary Karki. "The fixed price will be strictly enforced."
