June 11, Kathmandu - India has requested China to allow its citizens to visit China. India is also ready to allow Chinese nationals to visit India.

India has urged China to create a conducive environment for both sides. India's Ministry of External Affairs has made it clear that India is ready to allow Chinese nationals to travel to India. The ministry said India wanted to allow easy access, especially for Chinese who want to come to India for work and study.

China had earlier urged India to allow Indian nationals to come to China for work and study. On Thursday, India demanded China to allow its citizens to come to China, paving the way for both sides.
