Nepal Airlines Corporation With  A Profit  Above 1 Billion

June 12, Kathmandu- With the reduction in the price of international aviation fuel, the national flag carrier Nepal Airlines Corporation will get a benefit of Rs 1.5 billion. The corporation's decision to reduce the price of aviation fuel by 20 percent and not to make more than 15 percent profit during the Corona pandemic will benefit Rs 1.5 billion.

The corporation's decision will benefit the corporation the most among those flying from Kathmandu to different countries. It had been buying Rs 4.5 billion worth of fuel annually during regular flights.

Currently, the corporation has reduced the fuel used for international flights by ८ 178 per kiloliter, which will be the biggest benefit to domestic airlines.

Airlines of foreign companies refuel in Nepal only in case of emergency and most of the fuel is cheaper outside Nepal as it comes from there.
