June 12, Kathmandu-Anju Dahi, Deputy Chief of Barbardia Municipality has distributed nutritious items to 100 pregnant women in Ward Nos. 1 and 2 under the multi-sectoral nutrition program of Barbardia Municipality.

The municipality has started providing nutritious food and safety items to pregnant women. Similarly, the materials will be distributed in wards 5, 6, and 7 on Saturday. The municipality has started distributing gifts to pregnant women from Friday.

Each of them has been given a crate, a crate of eggs, half a liter of ghee, sanitizer, a mask, and other items worth Rs 1,700. City spokesperson Durga Bahadur Bishwakarma said that the materials would be given to pregnant women in all 11 wards.
