Jumla’s Chandannath sealed after corona spreade rapidly

June 12, Kathmandu - Jumla's Chandannath Municipality-7 Michagaun adjacent to Khalanga Bazaar has been sealed after the corona spreade rapidly. The district administration office has sealed the meeting as per the decision of the security committee on Friday evening.

According to Chandannath Municipality Health Branch Public Health Inspector Kshetra Bahadur Mahat, 19 people have been infected in Michagaun. Similarly, six people have been infected in Mahat village. He said that everyone was asked to stay in the institutional isolation but they did not comply.

According to local Vijay Rawal, it is suggested to draw the attention of the concerned bodies to prevent and control the corona infection and to adopt safety measures while monitoring the infected people. Earlier, efforts were made to prevent and control corona infection by sealing Tatopani village municipality-1 Rakagaun and village-6 Rawatwada of the same municipality. Chief District Officer Bhupendra Thapa said that the village has been sealed until the contact of the person in contact with the infected is done.
