3384 people infected with corona in last 24 hours

June 12, Kathmandu - In the last 24 hours, an additional 3384 people have been confirmed infected across the country.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 2,382 people tested positive for PCR in 8,506 people and 1,002 people tested positive for antigen in 5,988 people. So far, the infection has been confirmed in 66,778 people through PCR method and 19,757 people have been infected with antigen method.

Of the newly infected, 391 are in Kathmandu, 130 in Lalitpur and 77 in Bhaktapur. In the same period, another 6295 people have recovered. Out of the total infected people in Nepal, 527,111 have been cured. The recovery rate in the country is 86.9 percent.

The number of active infections has decreased to 71,301 due to higher recovery rate than new infections.
