June 25, Kathmandu- Ajay Thapa, one of the singers of the Nepali national anthem 'Saayun Thunga Phoolka Hami', passed away due to Corona on Friday. Thapa, a resident of Badakhal in Mechinagar Municipality-3, was found infected with corona last Sunda and he was admitted to B&C Hospital in Birtamod for treatment.

According to Public Relations Officer of B&C Hospital Pramish Giri, he died at 6 am on Friday while undergoing treatment on a ventilator. His wife Radha Thapa is also undergoing treatment at the same hospital due to a corona infection.

After the success of the Jana Andolan of 2006/2006 A.D, the national anthem composed by Byakul Myla and composed by Amber Gurung has been implemented in Nepal since 30 July 2007 A.D.
