Singer Prakash Saput awarded with 'Adarsh Vishesh Samman'

Adarsh ​​Sanchar Sahakari Sanstha Limited Baglung has decided to give this year's 'Adarsh ​​Special Honor' to singer and creator Prakash Saput. The award was announced on the occasion of the 14th annual general meeting of the cooperative. The cooperative has stated that Saput will be honored with Rs 25,000 in cash.

Singer Supat, who was born in Dhamja, Kathekhola Gaonpalika-3 of the district, is being honored for his contribution to the upliftment of folk music, said Humakumari GC Anju, chairperson of the cooperative.

Singer Saput's songs like 'Bolmaya', 'Galbandi', 'Badla Barilai', 'Futeka Chura', 'Dohori Batal' are popular. He is also seen in the role of a hero in the movie Pradeshi-2. The film is currently being shot.

Chairman of the cooperative GC said that the honor will be handed over to singer Saput in a special ceremony soon. Earlier, Rastriya Sahakari Bank central chairman KV Upreti and Gandaki state assembly member and former director of the National Cooperative Federation Prabha Koira were given the 'Adarsh ​​Special Honor'.
