July 13, Kathmandu- Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand is set to become the caretaker home minister of the government led by Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba. He is also the chief whip of the Congress parliamentary party.
Similarly, Deuba has also appointed Gyanendra Bahadur Karki as a minister. His ministry has not been decided yet.
Deuba's swearing-in ceremony is scheduled to be held at the President's Office today. Deuba will form a small cabinet in the first phase.
