According to the Cyber ​​Bureau, in recent times, a friend request has been sent to a social network user and a video call has been made from Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Viber, Emo, and others.

The bureau has urged social media users to be vigilant as the number of people repeatedly demanding money by engaging in more immoral/obscene activities by recording video calls and getting involved in cybercrime and destroying social and family ties is on the rise.

Where to file a complaint if you find out that such activities have taken place?

1. Cyber ​​Bureau
In the age of the internet, online abuse has become very common. About half of all teenage users on the Internet face daily online bullying.

But ironically, half of them never report such activity. Because they have no knowledge of the reporting and complaint process.

A Cyber ​​Bureau has been formed under the Nepal Police to take complaints and take action against such incidents of abuse.

Write a petition to the Police Headquarters Cyber ​​Bureau and sign with your name and contact number.

Also, attach a photocopy of both the strip of your citizenship and driver's license or other identifying government identity card.

3. YouTube


You can report inappropriate content to YouTube directly.

Click on the peacock in the player below the video you want to report.


Then go to the menu that appears and select the Report option.


Choose the appropriate option from there to reveal which rules the video violates.


Then include details that confirm your allegation, such as the timestamp (how many minutes the video contains such material) or the explanation of the violation as clearly as possible.


Each channel has a bottom button from which you can report against the channel.


You can even file a complaint against a certain YouTube channel. Open the corresponding channel for that.


Click on About on the right side.


Now press the flag-shaped button on the bottom bar.


Now there you can complain against the YouTube channel by selecting the appropriate option to match your complaint.


What to do if someone posts your personal information on YouTube without permission?

First, contact the person who uploaded your content and request that such content is removed.

4. Twitter

5. Facebook

Click on the three-dotted button at the top right of the post.


Go to the last Find Support and Report post there.


Choose the appropriate option from there to give suggestions and feedback to Facebook about such posts.
