He said, "Now the patients of covid-19 who need oxygen can be treated in the district itself." As enough electricity is required for the operation of the oxygen plant, a generator is being arranged, said by Acting Chief Mahat. "There is a power line in the district but since that electricity is not regular, an initiative is being taken to have a generator for regular operation of the oxygen plant," he said.
For the treatment of TB patients infected with covid-19 in the district, a modern and new technology gene export machine for tuberculosis diagnosis has been installed at the covid-Special Hospital, said Acting Chief Mahat. "New machines have been installed to treat severe TB patients with Covid-19," he said. "We are making the health sector stronger in the midst of the Covid-19 epidemic." According to the District Health Office, 62 people, including 29 women and 33 men, are actively infected with COVID-19 in the district. Of the active infected, 19 are undergoing treatment at covid Special Hospital. According to the District Health Office, there are 14 in isolation centers and 29 in home isolation in the district.
