July 22, Kathmandu- Stating that the local levels have increased the responsibility of child development facilitator and school staff by handing over the responsibility to them, the union has publicly requested the Finance Minister Janardan Sharma to send the responsibility. The National Federation of Villages, Nepal, and the Association of Nepal Municipalities have jointly appealed to the Finance Minister.

The municipality has drawn the attention of Finance Minister Sharma to send some of the programs announced in the policy program and budget of the government of Nepal for the fiscal year 2078-79 BS, including an increase in the salaries of child development facilitators and school staff, to increase the financial responsibility at the local level. In the federal appeal, the village municipalities have warned that the financial responsibility for the programs announced by the federal government through the budget will be borne by the government itself.

In the appeal issued by Hom Narayan Shrestha, President of the National Federation of Villages Nepal and Ashok Kumar Manu Shrestha, President of the Association of Municipalities of Nepal, the Government of Nepal has requested the Ministry of Finance to resolve the issue through Finance Minister Sharma. He said that serious attention has been drawn at the local level for the inclusion of such programs.
