July 24, Kathmandu - A separate executive committee meeting of both the faction of People Socialist Party Nepal is being held today.

The meeting of PSP's chairman Mahanta Thakur's faction will be held at the party office at Baber Mahal at 1 pm while the meeting of another chairman Upendra Yadav's faction will be held at the party's office in Balkumari at some point.

After the Election Commission asked both the parties to appear before the commission for the head counter, the meeting of both the groups is going to be held separately to prepare for it. Both factions are trying to get a majority in their favor.

The Thakur faction has filed a writ petition in the Supreme Court against Upendra Yadav against the Election Commission's order for the head counter.
