July 24, Kathmandu- COVID-19 is on the rise in Nepal. In the last 24 hours, an additional 3,114 people have been infected.

Corona testing of 14,910 people confirmed the infection in 2,309 people through PCR method and 805 people through antigen method.

At present, 25,086 people are being treated in home isolation, 2,671 in institutional isolation, 650 in ICU and 165 in a ventilator. In the same period, another 2,197 people have been cleared of infections. So far, out of the total infected, 741,565 have been infected. The recovery rate in Nepal is 94.5%.

Similarly, 16 more people have died due to COVID-19 infection. The number of deaths due to Kovid-19 in Nepal is 9,695. The death rate from this disease in Nepal is 1.5%.
