Indian Citizen Arrested With Drugs

July 24, Kathmandu- Banke police have raided a drug business in Nepalgunj where an Indian national has been renting a room.

Three persons, including two Indian nationals, were arrested with 43 grams of gray heroin in Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan-12, Korianpur last night after it was found that illegal drugs were being traded in a rented room in Nepalgunj.

Based on the information received by the Drug Bureau, Nepalgunj, the police team on Friday night nabbed Salman Khan, 28, of Kotpara Nanpara Bypass, Bahraich District, India, Mustakim, 28, of Kotwali, Lucknow, India and Azad Kabadiya, 21, of Tangastation, Nepalgunj-11. Banke Superintendent of Police Shyam Krishna Adhikari informed that they were taken under control.

According to him, digital scales weighing drugs were also recovered from the room during the raid. The District Police Office has started further investigation to take necessary action against the three arrested persons.
