August 2, Kathmandu - Actor Bhuwan KC has given many super hit and memorable films in his career. Probably he is not the most successful hero in Nepali films. He started his career as a singer in the role of Lover Boy. He is also the first model of Nepali music video and made his debut as a hero from the movie 'Juni'.
The scope of his introduction is not limited to being a hero and a singer. At the height of his career, he made films like 'Crorepati, Nepali Babu' and after he became inactive from acting, he started directing from the film 'Dreams'. He is considered to have played a big role in bringing change in the making of Nepali films. But, at some point, he remembers putting his house in the bank to make a film.
"I have only worked in selected films in my career. I could have done more than 500 films if I wanted to. But, I never neglected my film choices. I kept my house in the bank to make a better film. My aim was to make Nepali films in better quality. '
He further says, ‘At that time, Nepali films were dominated by Hindi films. I wanted Nepali films to compete with Hindi films. For that, I could not ask the producer to make such a film. So I made a film like 'Crorepati, Nepali Babu' by pledging my house bank. After getting involved in film making, acting became less and less. '
