China Sends 56 Warplanes Into Taiwan's Defense Zone In Largest-Ever Air Incursion

Oct 5, Kathmandu- Taiwan has advised China not to engage in provocative activities. Taiwan issued a warning on Monday after 56 Chinese fighter jets entered its airspace. It is the first time the Chinese air force has flown such a large number of fighter jets over Taiwan's airspace.

Taiwan has blamed China for the recent escalation of tensions. But China has blamed the United States for causing tensions with Taiwan. A few days ago, about 40 Chinese military ships entered Taiwan's airspace.

China considers Taiwan as one of its provinces. But Taiwan says it is an independent sovereign country. Taiwan has accused China of violating its airspace for more than a year. But China has said it does so to target its security and co-operation between Taiwan and the United States.
