Electric Stoves Are Cheaper Than LP Gas: Minister Bhusal

October 10, Kathmandu - Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal has stressed on the need to build the structure by keeping LP gas within a year.

Inaugurating the exchange of good wishes program organized by the Mahalakshmi Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Lalitpur on Sunday on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami, Diwali, Nepal Samvat 1142 and Chhath, Minister Bhusal appealed to all to build the structure by using home appliances. She said, "Let's build a structure without LP gas within a year, let's use electric stoves." Let's replace the gas purchased by IC by exchanging dollars. 'He said that the structure that consumes the least electricity during load shedding has been constructed.

He stressed on the need to make maximum use of hydropower in one's own country by constructing structures to burn electric stoves. Minister Bhusal also informed that it has been decided to provide free electricity to Nepali citizens living below the poverty line.
