Oct 15, Kathmandu- Leaders of various parties including  Prime Minister(PM) have expressed their best wishes on the occasion. They  said that cultural festivals including Bara Dashain  have been making special contribution to Nepali society and human life for brotherhood, emotional unity and national pride.

Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun expressed the hope that Bada Dashain would inspire all to move forward on the path of mutual understanding, cooperation and collaboration by uniting all Nepalis for building a prosperous nation.

Similarly, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has mentioned that unity among diverse characteristics is our fundamental identity and it is our common responsibility to protect and develop all castes, languages, religions, cultures and civilizations. "I am convinced that such festivals can strengthen our values, beliefs and culture," he said in a congratulatory message.

Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that Nepal has been able to become an independent, indivisible and united nation since time immemorial due to its own identity and cultural heritage in a beautiful country full of multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-cultural and multi-religious diversity.
