October 6, Kathmandu - The body of a teenager has been found drowned in a well in Siraha. Sathrudhan Mahato (17-years-old), son of Bhuneshwor Mahato of Golbazar Municipality-8 was found drowning in a dug well at Naya Chowk Choharwa of Naraha Village Municipality-3 on Saturday morning.

Mahato, who had gone to see the Jhiziya dance organized on the occasion of Dashain, was found dead. Locals have speculated that he may have fallen into a well while fleeing during a fight at the fair at night. Local Ram Kripal Yadav informed that there was a dispute between two youth groups at the fair. He is studying in class 11 of Janata Namuna Secondary School in the village.

An attempt is being made to remove the body from the well, said by police. The incident is also being investigated.
