Death Toll From Floods In Kerala Has Risen To 22

October 18, Kathmandu - The death toll from rains and subsequent floods in the southern Indian state of Kerala has risen to 22 since Friday. The bodies of some of the missing people were found on Sunday afternoon. After that, the number has increased to 22.

According to police, floods and landslides have been reported in two districts of the state, Idukki and Kotyam. According to Hindustan Times, a local newspaper in Kotyam district, the worst damage has been done. Most of those killed and missing in the floods are from the district. It has been raining here till Sunday morning.
