October 31, Kathmandu - Two judges of the Supreme Court have also boycotted the session.

Justices Anil Kumar Sinha and Sapna Malla Pradhan on Sunday boycotted the bench appointed by Chief Justice Cholendra Samsher Rana. With the boycott of the bench, the number of judges boycotting the apex court has reached 17. Besides, two judges are on leave. Judges on leave Tej Bahadur KC and Ishwar Khatiwada will not appear before the festival. Lawyers have been admitted to the Supreme Court on Sunday.

Other judges have been demanding the resignation of Chief Justice Rana, accusing him of seeking a split with the current ruling coalition and failing to uphold the dignity of the Supreme Court. Lawyers' organization Nepal Bar and other organizations have been protesting demanding Rana's resignation.
